Hawaii

Don't we look great! We had had a wonderful day of snorkling with hundreds of brightly colored large and small fish and a few sea turtles! It was amazing. I love being in the ocean and seeing all of the rock formations and the few plants and the sea creatures! We snorkled 4 times. The 1st few times I would get a little sea sick but by the 4th time I had figured out my breathing and felt much more comfortable. Mike was a great teacher. Very Kind and patient. It was fun to be under the water together and point out the cool fish to one another. I love being in the ocean, the feel of the waves and the salt water, until you swallow a mouth full, it is very peaceful and calm to me. I can't wait to go back. The beaches and the water in Hawaii are beautiful.

Homecoming

Melissa and Kenny are waiting for their dates to the homecoming dance. I have some very good looking kids don't you think. Kenny is a senior and Melissa is a junior. They both had interesting dates. Kenny drove all the way to north Salt Lake to go to a haunted house. The line was huge so they ended up just turning around and driving back home. And Melissa had just returned from her cruise with Uncle Eric and Aunt Brenda that day so she felt very very rushed. She hurried to get ready and then she waited and waited and waited. She was picked up 2 hours later than was planned. It was and eventful evening.

portland

n August I went to Portland to spend a few days with Cass and her Family. We did a little yard work and had a lot of fun. It was hard to leave them.

mud bath

On the beautiful island of St. Martin Mike and I took a three island snorkling tour. Our guide Captian Allen said that a volcanic mud bath would take 10 years off of us so we tried it. I am sure we didn't lose 10 years but we laughed alot. It felt good!
